I'm Jon Ransley, a student 3D Design at Bath Spa University, originally from Brighton. I like to work with my hands, starting my designs with drawings and digital 3D sketches to understand shape and scale. Then into material exploration and

 process to understand the characteristics of each material to 

develop my ideas to the final outcomes. I also have a passion for problem solving through design, making an object that will solve this issue. Finding out more about the issue from interviewing the client and understanding the issue from them. Researching into new ideas and inspiration to strengthen my professional practice and push my designs further. I have recently become a finalist in the Bath Creative Awards in the student category, entering in the work I have done at university so far.
